What is Cyber Treasury? |

Cyber Treasury is a facility to a user to make,
online payment to the state government .The provision currently has been made
for commercial taxes department.

How do I know whether my bank provides this facility ? |

Currently only SBI ( State Bank Of India ) has offered this facility.

| |
Currently, you can make payment only through your internet banking account.

You can, if :
- You are registered with the designated Department (Currently Commercial Taxes),
- You have a bank account with net banking facility,(Currently with SBI ) and
- Your bank is amongst the banks that provide net banking facility.

A user seeking to make payment for commercial tax department
is allowed following payments over the cyber treasury:-
(a) Luxury Tax
(b) Professional Tax
(c) Central Sales Tax
(d) Other Receipts
(e) Entry Tax

Is there any limitation of time for making payment over Cyber Treasury? |
| |
No. The facility is open 24 hours of the day .However,any transaction carried out after 16:00:00 hours on weekday's and 13:00:00 hours on saturday will be taken on next working day. If the last due date for any payment happens to be a holiday, please make sure to complete the transaction one working day prior to the deadline.
For example if 31st March is the last date for certain payment and it happens to be a holiday,transaction should be complete before 16:00:00 p.m. of 30th of March.

What is a working day? |

Working day is a day which is not a holiday for Banks and Treasuries.

How does this system of payment through internet benefit me as a user? |
| |
This system is beneficial to you as:-
-you are not required to personally visit the bank to make the payments.
-Easy Operation.
-Convenient.No long queues.
Payment can be made electronically at your convenience from any
place where an internet facility is available e.g. your office,
residence, etc.

Is there any restriction of period for which payments are allowed? |

No. Any payments to Government as per rules,due for any time period,
can be made over Cyber Treasury.

How do I know that I have completed my transaction using this facility ? |
| |
Once your transaction is complete, you will be provided an acknowledgement bearing a CIN (Challan Identification Number ) which is a unique ID for your transaction. You can take a print out of the same as a receipt .
Apart from the CIN given to you,you can check your online bank statement to verify the transaction.
